Local Professional Building Inspector

I have been working in the building industry for over 30 years, developing my skills and knowledge across all aspects of construction. I know how important it is to inspect every detail of a building project at every stage as I have personally overseen and conducted over 7000 inspections and building projects. I understand what makes a construction project successful, which allows me to identify and solve any potential issues.

My career in the building industry started as a plasterer, running my own business for 15 years. I then moved on to become a Site Manager for a major builder, and was responsible for the construction of about 500 high-quality homes over 10 years. This position required management of everything from ordering materials and coordinating trades and suppliers, to communicating with clients and ensuring quality assurance inspections were done properly. This experience provided expertise in maintaining high standards of quality throughout the entire construction process.

I also have qualifications as an Access Consultant, a specialisation in confirming that buildings comply with the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA). I have successfully completed many projects that met the accessibility standards, and hold pride in my work in this area. I am also a qualified building and pest inspector, and have completed many inspections throughout Victoria. This qualification shows my commitment to assessing both the structural and environmental aspects of a building.

My education includes a certification as a plasterer and a Certificate IV in Building and Construction. These qualifications complement my practical experience and demonstrate my professionalism.
